[Damien Mulley] Quick Irish Podcasting stats question September 5th, 2006 How many hours and how many minutes of Irish podcasts now exist? blogs ireland irish...

[Tomrafteryit.net] Tom Rafterys IT views: I mentioned earlier this week that I have been asked to give a presentation on Microsoft’s relevance in the Web 2.0 arena. What I didn’t mention was that this presentation is to an internal Microsoft conference for the EMEA region managers and the conference is taking place in Switzerland towards the end of September!
[Mulley.net] Damien Mulley: Simon, is this spam or is it ok because the emails go to generic email addresses? It seems like a great idea for lowering the barrier to entry for campaigning but it’d be a shame to see a local paper get avalanched because of someone wanted their agenda pushed forcefully.
[Blog.itcork.ie] The IT@Cork Blog: Where does BT Ireland lie in the Irish telecoms market? - 3:15 ... Week 4. How to Promote your blog and posts. Week 5. How to Podcast Hosting Marketing ...
[Lettertoamerica.blogs.com] Letter to America: Here's the statue as described in the Hugh Mulholland interview in this week's podcast. It poses a challenge to photographers because it is so anodyne and aggressively bland that to produce a 'good' photographic representation of it is at the same time also producing a 'bad' photograph.
[Catmusicblog.com] Cat Music Blog and Cat Lovers Podcast: Perhaps a slight technical misrepresentation, but it is true that Marc Gunn and the Dubliners' Tabby Cats have been signed to Gestalt Records to distribute their album entitled "Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers." This entertaining collection of Irish drinking songs is inspired by the furry little McKittens that are so near and dear to the heart of lead singer Marc Gunn and so many others. These cats are moving up in the world as they just put their paw print on this distribution deal with Gestalt to launch next month.
[Damien Mulley] Cheeky Cheeky Bernie!: Bernie was kind enough to blog on my behalf about the fact that the Irish Tourist Board are paying for American Tourists to come to Ireland and podcast their experiences. It’s a pity the Tourist Board haven’t considered using the great podcasters we already have around these parts.
[ The IT@Cork Blog] Danny McLoughlin podcast: Danny McLoughlin podcast 1 Comment Published by Tom Raftery August 8th, 2006 in Podcast This podcast is slightly different from the usual IT@Cork members podcasts. There is no sponsor mentioned.
[AdamMaguire.com - Blog] Permanent Link to A good week for Irish... : In other good news Conn à MuÃneacháin has announced that he will have a new Irish language radio show on Flirt FM, Galway (and probably elsewhere) revolving around social networking tools. This is one of those rare occassions where a podcaster moves into the mainstream media but if anyone in Ireland was going to do it it was always going to be Conn.
[ poetbloggs] How long is too long?: Some good news, I was accepted to the Creative Writing MA in UCD starting in September, the website-redesign is finished but won’t be live for a while, and I did manage to get myself one of theselast week. My Grandad is much better, although in Hospital at the minute, so most of my time is spent there.
[IrishEyes] 10 Questions for Your Sunday: What kind of new bling is flashed all over Ireland, including in Cashel in southeast Ireland? Luxury cars (convertible Mercedes are the most popular in Cashel), eating out (tables are hard to get in Chez Hans, Tipperary's finest restaurant) and helicopters (one lands 300m from my house nearly every weekend).
[AdamMaguire.com - Blog] Permanent Link to Our print media needs to get... : While the benefits of online content aren’t as apparent as with DTT and DAB the internet too offers much greater freedom and space to do anything, and it’s not like they’re expensive; The Guardian seems to be doing pretty well in financial terms even though it is free to read online (after a free registration) and has tons of online-only content.
[Podcasting in Ireland] Sourcing Educational Content Online: Since the agenda was running overtime, I scrubbed forward in the podcast and helped everyone enjoy coffee on time. Attendees at the event will find the content between 15-18 minutes most useful because that’s the stuff we scrubbed during the conference.
