[Hypable] Hypable's 'Glee Chat' podcast makes iTunes 'New & Noteworthy' list ...: I’d kind of watched Glee last season, but I wasn’t too interested until I figured out that it was one of the most active topics on hypable (along with twilight and the hunger games). I was looking for something to fill the gap, and glee seemed to have enough hype to do that.

[Half-Way to a Mid-Life Crisis] Happy Banned Books Week 2011! « Half-Way to a Mid-Life Crisis: One may say that the removal of a book here or there from the shelves of a local bookstore or library may not make a difference given the plethora of other tomes to choose from.  I certainly have no love lost with A Clockwork Orange, a disgustingly violent book that is also a perennial favorite of the banned-books lists.  But I know enough about the power and value of books to know that an individual or philosophical group’s personal preferences simply cannot dictate access.
