Podcasts I'm listening to « Escape Indifference

[Escape Indifference] Then they started to become more sophisticated and some of your big publications, such as CNN, the New York Times, Washington Post, and the BBC got on board. To be sure, the amount of content can be quite overwhelming, not to mention if you have an energetic clicking finger, you could find yourself being subscribed to about 30-50 podcasts and there’s really no way you can catch up and listen to them all.

iPhone 3.1 Bugs: Podcasts Out of Order | The iPhone Blog

[The iPhone Blog] What helped for me was first deleting the podcast from iTunes (and retrieving the individual podcast files from the trash as backup, in case they disappeared from the feed), then syncing with the iPhone, followed by resubscribing to the podcasts through the iTunes Store (and putting back episodes that have disappeared form the feed from backup, by dragging them to iTunes) and syncing with the iPhone a second time.

Espanyol Preview and Podcast! - - The Offside - Real Madrid ...

[Real Madrid] Real Madrid plays its first away match of the year in the first league game hosted at Espanyol’s new ground, the Cornella-El Prat Stadium this Saturday 2pm eastern time. I am a tad torn in terms of coverage of the game, because I could do a liveblog on CoverItLive, or I could do one of those nice stream of consciousness reviews everyone liked so much during the preseason.

Rich Mindset Blogger: The History of Twitter

[Rich Mindset Blogger] Twitter's San Francisco offices on 539 Bryant StreetTwitter has been described as akin to a Web-based Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client.[23] The Twitter Web interface uses the Ruby on Rails framework.[24] From the spring of 2007 until 2008 the actual messages were handled by a Ruby persistent queue server called Starling[25] but since 2009 this has been gradually replaced with software written in Scala.[26] The service's Application programming interface (API) allows other web services and applications to integrate with Twitter.[27] Searches on the system make use of hashtags, words or phrases prefixed with a #. A search for "beer" would turn up all messages that included #beer.[28] Similarly, the @ sign followed by a username allows users to send messages directly to each other.
