American Forces Networks Virtual World News
[3pointD.com] Who knew the American Forces Network (which I believe is an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense) had a weekly podcast called Virtual World News? It’s just a few minutes, and it’s really just games-related news, not specific to virtual worlds, but it was a surprising find.

Will Microsoft Use Useless Zune Features To Compete With iPhone?
[Podcasting News] Unfortunately for Microsoft, many analysts consider the Zune’s wireless features useless. It will take more than expanding the geographic range of the Zune’s handicapped sharing capabilities to make a Zune phone something to get excited about.

Podagogy Research In Full Swing
[Podagogy] Faculty and student assistants have been trained, audio recordings are beginning to show up in the respective iTunes U courses, the iPod support site is being used, there are no reported problems with the iPods or iTunes U - I think we are well underway!

Yes, Lotus Connections and Lotus Quickr are already making their way into providing some really useful business value to knowledge workers, but some of its many components have already been used inside IBM for quite some time.
