Creme Eggs and podcasting
[Adverblog: advertising and new media marketing] The contest aims at discovering undiscovered talent, no matter in which field, as long as it can be expressed through audio. Singers-songwriters, poets and/or writers can submit their mp3 and be featured in a weekly selection distributed as podcast.

Supposedly the Podshow contract has been exposed
[Multi-Media Me] I thought I remembered Adam railing against the “old” school way of things early on. I have no way to know if this is legitimate but from some of the rumors I have heard it is a pretty restrictive contract with Podshow.

Online Social Networking & PodCasts - Last.fm
[blogs | NetSquared] So, it looks like you can add your own tracks as well so I think it would be interesting to build up a "social" library of speeches, interviews, radio shows, podcasts, etc on Last.fm that could then be tagged, grouped, and most importantly discovered by other people. The link at http://www.last.fm/labels indicates that you can add your own tracks...

Pod2mob profitting from your work?
[Doug Dobbins Dot Com] As discussed in todays Daily Source Code, a new company called pod2mob is inserting advertising in their mobile streams of podcasts, all podcasts, without the owners consent. Like Curry, Im hoping lawyers wont have to be called in, but all podcast producers should be defending their copyrights against this commercial usage of their property.

Interview with Eric and Traci from Feedburner
[Jon Watson's Tales from the Motherboard - Blogger. Podcaster. Internet Jedi.] Today I had the opportunity to spend 30 minutes or so with Eric Olson (yup, the VentureWeek podcaster when he's not busy burning feeds) and Traci Hailpern from Feedburner. Most organizations that I contact to come on the show accept, but the 10% or so that can't be bothered really miss out.

Intro to Podcasting
[DArcy Norman Dot Net] Ill be giving an “Intro to Podcasting” workshop/presentation/session on Wednesday April 19th here at the Learning Commons Teaching & Learning Centre. Ive only got an hour, and it will be an “intro” session, so Ill follow Levines Law and start with the demo.
